7. Number Block: A group of numbers
consisting of one hundred or one thousand
consecutive numbers of the same range that are
allocated to the Licensees for designation to
customers.
8. Codes: includes codes for international signals
point, codes for national signal, codes for mobile
network and codes for carrier selection.
9. Ranges: Prefix to start a call; an indicator
contains one or more digits to indicate the type of
service to be accessed.
10. Top Level: the last digit in the Internet
domain name.
Chapter One
The Chairman, Board & the Chief Executive
Functions & Duties
Article (51-1)
Article 2: in the application of Clause (10) of
Article (2) of the Act, the chairman, Board & the
chief executive shall perform all powers, duties and
functions in managing the Authority`s Affairs
particularly in the following:
A. The Chairman
1.
To issue regulations, decisions, rules and
regulatory conditions requirements implementing
the Act, after getting the necessary approval from
the Board.
2.
To prepare the Authority’s draft annual
budget, final accounts and annual report on its
activities after getting the necessary approval from
the Board to the Council of Ministers for
endorsement.
3.
To prepare principles for determining
service tariffs that the beneficiaries should abide
by which are proposed to be included in the
licenses to the Minister.
