5 Section 9.The printer shall send two copies of a printed matter under section 8 to the National Library of Thailand within thirty days from the date of its distribution. Section 10. The Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police shall have the power to issue an order, by publication in the Government Gazette, to prohibit the placing of an import order or importation, for the purpose of distribution in the Kingdom, of any printed matter which is defamatory, insulting or vengeful against the King, the Queen, the Heir to the Throne or the Regent, or may affect the security of the Kingdom or the public order or good morals of the public. The time limit of the prohibition may also be prescribed in such order. In issuing an order under paragraph one, the textswith the characteristics of being defamatory, insulting or vengeful against the King, the Queen, the Heir to the Throne or the Regent, or the texts which affects the security of the Kingdom or the public order or good morals of the public shall not be displayed. The Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police shall have the power to seize and destroy the printed matter under paragraph one. CHAPTER II NEWSPAPER Section 11. The printing of a newspaper printed within the Kingdom must be recorded in accordance with the provisions of this Act.
