CHAPTER ELEVEN
RESPONSIBILITY FOR LAW VIOLATORS AND JURISDICTION TO RESOLVE COMPLAINTS AND
DISPUTES
Article 80. Responsibilities for violators of election laws
80.1. If criminal liability is not imposed on the person who violates the laws on elections, the liability provided for in
the Law on Violations and the Law on Civil Service shall be imposed.
Article 81. Jurisdiction to resolve complaints and disputes about violations of election laws
81.1. The authorized person handling election complaints and disputes shall resolve them within the election year,
unless otherwise specified in this law, taking into account the nature of the complaints and disputes.
81.2. The election commissions shall act in accordance with the principle of subordination according to this law, and
shall file complaints with respect to the decisions of the sum and district election commissions to the election
commissions of the province and the capital, and to the General Election Committee with respect to the decisions of the
election commissions of the province and the capital.
81.3. In accordance with Article 74 of this Law, the Constitutional Court shall review and resolve the disputes raised in
connection with the decision of the General Election Committee, which submitted the voting results.

81.4. Disputes related to the decisions of the General Election Committee, except for those specified in Article 81.3 of
this law, shall be reviewed by the Administrative Court of Appeals in the first instance procedure and the Supreme
Court in the appeal procedure.
81.5. Applications and complaints shall be submitted within a week after the decision of the election commissions, and
complaints that are overdue will not be accepted.
81.6. The voter can report to the police with a document that cash and items have been distributed to voters.
81.7. If it is found that the voters have distributed money and goods illegally, the citizen who provided the information
has the right to demand a reward equal to ten times the value of the distributed cash and goods from the guilty party.
81.8. The court shall not suspend the implementation of the administrative act when considering disputes in accordance
with Article 81.3 of this law.

CHAPTER TWELVE
MISCELLANOUS
Article 82. Adoption of the Law on Elections and amendments to it
82.1. It is prohibited to adopt the law on the election of the Mongolian Great Khural and to make amendments or
amendments to it during the period of one year before the date of the regular election of the Great Khural of Mongolia.
Article 83. Entry into force of the law
83.1. This law shall be enforced from December 23, 2019.
