These Regulations may be cited as the Competition Commission (CC) Regulations, 2010, (herein after referred to as "the Regulations"). Commencement 2. The commencement date of these Regulations shall be the date of publication in the Gazette. Interpretation 3. (I) In these Regulations unless the context indicates otherwise (a) "Act" means the Competition Act No.8 of2007; (b) "acquisition" includes the purchase or lease of shares, an interest, or assets of another enterprise, the amalgamation or other combination with another enterprise; (c) "Commission" means the Swaziland Competition Commission established under section 6 of the Act; (d) "Commission Officer" means an officer of the Commission appointed under section 20 of the Act; (e) "complainant" means a person who has submitted a complaint in respect of an alleged anti-competitive trade practice in terms of section I I (2)(a) of the Act; (1) "confidential information" means trade, business, industrial or financial information that belongs to an enterprise, has a particular economic value, is commercially sensitive and is not generally available to or known by others; , ~.~~
