Article 27: The Authority shall issue all the terms
and procedures that regulate a mechanism proves
to the buyer that the device and
telecommunications systems supplied for sale is
type-approved by the Authority and being
imported for testing & evaluation.
Article 28: 1.The Authority may recognise
laboratories or local and international bodies for
type-approval and publish a list of their names
and addresses in its website.
للهيئة أن تصدر القواعد واإلجراءات اليت:)27( املادة
تنظم وضع آلية تثبت للمشرتي أن جهاز أو نظام
االتصاالت املعروض للبيع قد مت املوافقة على نوعيته

The Authority may approve certificate of
approved laboratories by the member body of the
Mutual Recognition Arrangement of the
International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) countries.

2. The Authority may sign memorandums of
understanding with local or international bodies in
the purpose of mutual approval of type- approvals
and test and inspection certificates.

3. Equipment imported for testing, evaluation, or
merely exhibition and not with intention to sell or
connect to the public network shall not require
type-approval. The Authority shall be provided
with the information regarding the place being
exhibited or tested and the period required to
exhibit or test it, as well As the importer shall
submit an undertaking to the Authority to reexport the equipment outside the Sultanate.

In case the importer decides to sell the equipment
within the Sultanate, he shall follow the typeapproval procedures.
ويف حال قرر املستورد بيع األجهزة داخل السلطنة
.عليه اتباع اجراءات املوافقة على النوعية
Article 29: A type-approval certificate shall be
considered the dealer`s property, no other dealer
is permitted to sell a type- approved product
without obtaining a type-approval certificate from
the Authority or obtaining the prior approval of
the dealer holding the certificate.
تعد شهادة اعتماد النوعية ملكية خاصة:)29( املادة
وال جيوز ألي متعامل آخر بيع منتج،للمتعامل
معتمد النوعية دون احلصول على شهادة املوافقة
على النوعية من اهليئة أو احلصول على املوافقة
.املسبقة للمتعامل صاحب الشهادة
