(b) for excluding from the operation of this section such
articles of a primarily literary or artistic character as
he thinks fit.
(5) In this section—
(a) references to articles do not include films; and
(b) references to the marketing of an article shall be construed
as references to it being sold or let for hire or offered
or exposed for sale or hire.

Nature of copyright in works of architecture
14. Copyright in a work of architecture shall include the exclusive
right to control the erection of any building which reproduces
the whole or a substantial part of the work either in its original
form or in any form recognizably derived from the original:
Provided that the copyright in any such work shall not include
the right to control the reconstruction or rehabilitation in the
same style as the original, of a building to which that copyright
relates.
Nature of copyright in broadcasts
15. (1) Copyright in a broadcast shall be the exclusive right
to control in Malaysia the recording, the reproduction, and the
rebroadcasting, of the whole or a substantial part of the broadcast,
and the performance, showing or playing to the public in a place
where an admission fee is charged of the whole or a substantial
part of a television broadcast either in its original form or in any
way recognizably derived from the original.
(2) Notwithstanding subsection (1), paragraphs 13(2)(a), (g),
(gg), (ggg), (gggg), (h) and (o) shall also apply to the copyright
in a broadcast.
(3) The copyright in a television broadcast shall include the right
to control the taking of still photographs from such broadcasts.
