(2) The appointment and dismissal of the Chief and Deputy Chief of the State Intelligence Agency is stipulated by Presidential Decrees. Article 36 (1) The Chief of the State Intelligence Agency as referred to in Article 35 is appointed and dismissed by the President after being approved by the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. (2) In order to appoint the Chief of the State Intelligence Agency as referred to in paragraph (1), the President proposes one candidate to get the approval of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. (3) Hearing for the approval of the House of Representatives corcerning the prospective Chief of the State Intelligence chosen by the President shall be submitted no later than 20 (twenty) working days, excluding the recess, starting since the submission for hearing concerning the candidate for the Chief of State Intelligence is received by the House of Representatives of the Republic of Indonesia. Article 37 Further provisions on the organization and functioning of the State Intelligence Agency is stipulated by Presidential Decrees.
