the council in exchange for a receipt signed by the association’s administrative official or any other employee appointed by the council for this goal. B. The names of the nominees are announced on a special board at the association on the next day after the period of the nomination ends. Article 29: A- Anyone who wants to nominate himself for the head of the council position: 1. Must not be a working minister, government official or an employee at an international mission or foreign institution. 2. Must not be older than 35 years of age. 3. Was registered in the practicing journalists list of the association for not less than ten years. 4. Must not be an employee or correspondent for a non-Jordanian newspaper or news agency. 5. Shall not be elected for more than two consecutive cycles but he can be elected if one cycle passes on his pervious period 6. To pay for the association fund un refunded nomination fee of JD100. B-Anyone who wants to nominate himself for the council’s membership: 1- Must not be older than 35 years of age. 2- Registered at the practicing journalists list for at least 5 years. 3-must not be an employee at an international mission or foreign Institution or correspondent for a non-Jordanian newspaper or News agency. 4-to pay for the association fund un refunded nomination fee of JD20. C-The record of the persons nominated for the head position or membership shall be free of any disciplinary decision that prevents them from practicing the profession. Article30: A-When all the legal conditions are met for the elections, the general board chooses a fivepersons committee to implement the procedures of election, counting votes and announcing the results. B- The election committee mentioned in “A” above chooses a head from its members to control the meeting in cooperation with the committee and all voting papers shall be signed by him and stamped by the association’s stamp before distributing them. C-The committee looks into any objections during the elections. D-All voting papers are kept at the association and the council can destroy them after six months of the elections.
