Public Rights and Duties
Article 34
Ci zens shall be equal in terms of public rights and du es.
Article 35
All persons are equal before the Law and there shall be no discrimina on whatsoever on grounds of gender, race,
language or religion.
Article 36
Personal freedom shall be guaranteed and no person may be arrested, detained or searched, neither may his
freedom of residence and mobility be restricted, save under the provisions of the Law. No person may be subjected
to torture or any degrading treatment, and torture shall be deemed a crime punishable by Law.
Article 37
The sanc ty of the individual’s privacy shall be inviolable, and therefore interference in a person’s privacy, family
affairs, home or correspondence, or any other act of interference that may demean or defame a person, shall not
be allowed, save as permi ed by the provisions s pulated in the Law.
