46 In regard to submission (c): if the hull acquired by Schultz from Beary was made from a mould or plug created prior to 11 September 1965, Butt had no copyright there¬ in. The probability is, however, that the Beary hull was made from the plug and mould which Butt created in 1978. The 1978 plug was "original" , not, it is true, in the sense of being the first work of that type which was created, but in the copyright sense of originating from the author.
