Amendment of Cap. 49 The Stage Plays and Public Entertainment Act is amended— (a) in section 1by substituting for paragraph (a) the following— “(a) Commission means the Uganda Communications Commission established under the Uganda Communications Act, 2013.”; (b) by substituting for any reference to “council” in that Act, a reference to “Commission”. 95. Amendment of Schedules. The Minister may, with the approval of Cabinet, by statutory instrument amend the Schedules to this Act. 96. Repeal and saving. (1) The Electronic Media Act, Cap. 104 and the Uganda Communications Act, Cap. 106 are repealed. (2) Notwithstanding subsection (1), any statutory instrument made under the Electronic Media Act or the Uganda Communications Act which is in force immediately before the commencement of this Act, shall remain in force until revoked under this Act. _____ 58
