Therefore, while digital evidence is crucial in modern-day criminal investigations, Nepal faces numerous challenges in its collection, handling, and presentation. To ensure justice, fairness, and the protection of individuals' rights, Nepal urgently needs to address these issues by establishing clear guidelines, standardized protocols, and ensuring the qualification and expertise of those involved in digital forensic examinations. Only by addressing these challenges can Nepal enhance the credibility, admissibility, and reliability of digital evidence in its legal system. 33
