「MILITARY CRIMINAL ACT」 1. In the face of the enemy: Death or imprisonment with labor for an indefinite term or for a term of not less than ten years; 2. In wartime, during a disturbance, or in an area under martial law: Imprisonment for a limited term of not less than five years; 3. In other cases: Imprisonment with labor for not less than one year nor more than ten years. (2) A person who has deserted his or her military unit or his or her duty and does not return to the military unit or duty within a reasonable period without good cause shall also be punished by the penalty provided in paragraph (1).
