k) in consultation with the Minister, to facilitate cross border cooperation in the enforcement of privacy laws by participating at national, regional and international forums mandated to deal with the protection of personal information initiatives. 6 Establishment of Data The operations of the Authority shall, subject to this Act, be Protection Authority of controlled and managed by a board to be known as the Data Protection Authority of Zimbabwe Board. Zimbabwe Board 7 Composition (1) Subject to subsection (2), the Board shall consist of not fewer Constitution of than five members and not more than seven members appointed Board by the Minister in consultation with the President after consultation with the Minister. (2) In appointing the members of the Board the Minister in consultation with the President shall endeavour to secure that members are representative of groups or sectors of the community having an interest in human rights, information, and information/ communication technology, and, in particular, that at least three members are chosen for their experience or professional qualifications in the following fields or areas of competence (a) communications; (b) law, accountancy or administration.
