Nini, publisher of the newspaper, wrote a column in which he alleged that a prosecutor in a particular town was homosexual. Although Nini did not name the prosecutor, all four prosecutors filed a defamation complaint. The court sentenced him to a fine and damages for libel and public insult. The decision was upheld on appeal.
