DATE OF ASSENT: 9th August, 2010. Date of Commencement: 3rd September, 2010. BE IT ENACTED by Parliament as follows— PART I—PRELIMINARY 1. Interpretation. (1) In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires— “assignment” means assignment or transfer of rights and liabilities under this Act; “board’’ the board of directors established under the Uganda Registration Services Bureau Act; “certification mark” means the mark referred to in section 13; “court” means the High Court; “currency point” has the meaning given to it in the Schedule; 5
