Chief Justice Ma:
1. For the reasons contained in the judgment of Mr Justice Fok PJ, I agree that this appeal
should be allowed and the appellant’s conviction quashed. I only emphasise one point. The
common law offence of outraging public decency, which has a history going back at least 350
