The rate of interest to be paid on deposits lodged in accordance with the provisions of section 3 of the Act shall be 2½% per annum. Exemption. 15. The Minister may exempt any newspaper from all or any of the provisions of these Regulations. Offences and penalties. 16. Any person who contravenes regulation 8 or 13 shall be guilty of an offence: Penalty, imprisonment for 6 months and a fine of $1,000.
