BUZZFEED, INC., et al., Defendants. ____________________________________/ ORDER THIS CAUSE comes before the Court upon Plaintiff’s Motion for Partial Judgment on the Pleadings with Respect to Defendants’ Affirmative Defenses of “Fair Report Privilege” and “Neutral Reporting Privilege” (D.E. 115). THE COURT has considered the motion, the pertinent portions of the record and is otherwise fully advised in the premises. BACKGROUND These facts come from the complaint (D.E. 1) and the amended answer (D.E. 38). The standard for a motion for judgment on the pleadings significantly constrains the Court’s consideration of extrinsic facts. (see Legal Standard, infra). I. The Parties Plaintiff Aleksej Gubarev is a resident of the Republic of Cyprus. D.E. 1 ¶ 6. He is the chairman and CEO of Plaintiff XBT Holdings S.A. Id. XBT Holdings S.A., is a Luxembourg company with offices in Florida, among other places. Id. ¶ 7. It owns Plaintiff Webzilla, Inc., which is a Florida corporation with offices in Fort Lauderdale.
