Royal Decree 6/2021 Promulgating the Basic Statute of the State – Decree 29 of 47 https://decree.om/2021/rd20210006/ competent authorities after their presentation to Majlis Oman, submitting them to the Sultan for approval, and monitoring their implementation. – Debating proposals by ministries in the areas of their respective competences, and making appropriate recommendations and decisions with respect to them. – Overseeing the functioning of the administrative apparatus of the state, monitoring the performance of its duties, and coordinating between its units. – Overseeing generally the implementation of laws, royal decrees, regulations, decisions, treaties, agreements, and court judgments in a manner that ensures compliance with them. – Any other competences the Sultan assigns to it or are assigned to it by virtue of the provisions of the law. The Prime Minister shall preside over the sessions of the council, and he may delegate the management of sessions that he does not attend to one of the deputy prime ministers. 1/20/2025, 3:02 PM
