[1] The plaintiff in this action is an unemployed male in his 50s.
[2] The defendant is the entity with whom users outside of North America contract when they register
an account on the social networking site "Facebook". Facebook is a social networking site which
enables users to post information on dedicated pages or sites. Other Facebook users can access the
information on those pages and can then contribute to the page by posting material on it. Facebook
describes itself as the world's largest social network service. It claims over 1.59 billion monthly active
users worldwide in over 200 jurisdictions. It says that users share approximately 2 billion photographs
