Network”
Public Telecommunication Services by the Licensed
Operators pursuant to the provisions of the Federal Law
by Decree and this Executive Order.
“Public Telecommunication
Service”
any Telecommunication Service provided to users or
a part thereof in consideration of a fee.
“Supreme Committee”
the committee established for the supervision of the
telecommunication sector.
“Telecommunication Services”
Any service of transmitting, broadcasting, switching or
receiving by means of a Telecommunication Network of
any of the following:
1.wired and wireless cable and radio
telecommunications;
2.voice, music and other sounds;
3. visual images;
4.signals used in transmission otherwise than the
transmission and broadcasting of programmes;
5.signals used to operate or control any machinery or
apparatus;
6.the installation, maintenance, adjustment, repair,
alteration, moving, removal or replacement of apparatus
which is or is to be connected to a Public
Telecommunication Network;
7.the installation, maintenance and operation of local and
international telegraph, telephone and leased circuits and
domestic and international data networks,
internet and wireless transmission; or
8.any other Telecommunication Services approved by
the Supreme Committee.
but does not include any services used in the production
and broadcasting of programmes.
"Wireless Transmission"
the transmitting or receiving of electro-magnetic
energy which may be used for the conveyance of
data, or messages or voice or visual images, or for
the operation or control of machinery or apparatus.
