(2) It shall come into force at once 2. Ametrdment of section 2, Act XL of 2016.-ln the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act,2016 (Act XL of20l6), hereinafter referred to as Act XL of20l6. in section 2, in suEsection (1),- (i) after clause (vi), the following new clauses shall be inserted, namely:- "(via) (vib) (ii) "child" means a person below the age ofeighteen )€ars:"; "child sexual abuse content" means the represenlation. by whatever m€ans, of a child engaged in real o. simulated sexually explicit conduct or representation ofthe sexual parts ofa child for primarily sexual purposes;"; after clause (vii), the following new clause shall be inserted, nameiy:- ''(vii (iii) a) "complainant" means any person who makes complaints of any offence under this Act and includes a victim, or an individual having substantial reasons to believe the offcnce is being committed or likely to b€ committed and any authority refering the complaint for investigation,"; after clause (xxvii), the following new clause shall be inserted, namelYr "(xxvria) "sexually explicit conduct" mea-lrs actual or simulated-sexual intercourse, including Senital-genital, oml-gendal, analgenital, or oral-anal, whether between persons of the same or opposite sex; or (a) bestiality; or (b) masturbation: or (c) sadistic or masochistic abuse; or (d) lascivious exhibition of the anus, genitals, or pubic ofany person;"; and area
