(e) any film (including microfilm), negative, tape, disc or other device in which one or more visual images are embodied so as to be capable (with or without the aid of some other equipment) of being reproduced therefrom; and (f) any paper or other material on which there are marks, impressions, figures, letters, symbols or perforations having a meaning for persons qualified to interpret them; “information” includes information contained in an electronic record as defined in section 2 of the Electronic Transactions Act (Cap. 88); “media” means — (a) any film as defined in section 2(1) of the Films Act (Cap. 107); (b) any newspaper as defined in section 2 of the Newspaper and Printing Presses Act (Cap. 206); (c) any broadcasting service as defined in section 2(1) of the Broadcasting Act (Cap. 28); (d) any publication as defined in section 2 of the Undesirable Publications Act (Cap. 338); and (e) any other matter or thing as the Minister may, by order published in the Gazette, specify, and “media industry” and “media service” shall be construed accordingly; “member”, in relation to the Authority, means a member of the Authority and includes a temporary member of the Authority; “Singapore Broadcasting Authority” means the Singapore Broadcasting Authority established under the Singapore Broadcasting Authority Act (Cap. 297, 1995 Ed.) in force immediately before 1st January 2003; “transferred agency” means any transferred agency specified in the second column of the Schedule; Informal Consolidation – version in force from 15/1/2010
