Communications and Multimedia 55 Confidential material not to be disclosed 63.  (1)  If an inquiry takes place in public and the Commission is of the opinion that— (a) the evidence or other material presented to the inquiry; or (b) the material in written submissions lodged with the Commission, is of a confidential nature, the Commission may direct that— (aa) the evidence or material should not be published; or (bb) its disclosure be restricted. (2)  A person shall not without reasonable excuse fail to comply with a direction under subsection (1). Directions about an inquiry 64.  (1)  If an inquiry or part of an inquiry takes place in private, the Commission— (a) shall give a direction as to the persons who may be present at the inquiry or part of the inquiry; and (b) may give a direction restricting the disclosure of evidence or other material presented at the inquiry or part of the inquiry. (2)  Notwithstanding section 53, a person who without reasonable excuse fails to comply with a direction given under subsection (1) commits an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding twenty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding six months or to both. Report on an inquiry 65.  (1)  The Commission shall publish a report, setting out its findings as a result of any inquiry it conducts. (2)  The Commission shall publish the report within thirty days of the conclusion of the inquiry.
