[22nd December 2023] REPUBLIC OF SEYCHELLES Data Protection Act SUPPLEMENT TO OFFICIAL GAZETTE 633 ACT natural person and which result, in particular, from an analysis of a biological sample from the natural person in question; “Minister” means the Minister responsible for information; “personal data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; “processing” means an operation involving collection, recording, structuring or storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation or use, disclosure by transmission,dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, or restriction, erasure or destruction; “personal data breach” means an unauthorized access and retrieval of personal information by an individual, group of persons, or software system or a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of or access to personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed; “profiling” means automated processing of personal data consisting of the use of personal data to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to a natural person, and in particular to analyse or predict aspects concerning that natural person’s performance at work, economic situation, health, preferences, interests, reliability, location or movements; “sensitive personal data” means personal data related to the most private areas of the data subject’s life, or whose misuse might lead to discrimination or involve a serious risk for the data subject; “third party” means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body that is authorised to process personal data; and “traffic data” means any computer data relating to a communication by means of a computer system generated by a computer system that formed a part in the chain of
