They pointed out that the plaintiff is a public figure and a holder of public office, and that he is obliged to show a greater degree of tolerance in relation to the information published about him. They pointed out that the amount of non-material damage compensation is disproportionate to the goal pursued - protectinBthe plaintiff's reputation.
