Issue nos 11-12/Augmst2008 OFFICIAL GAZETTE (Cong Bao nos 511-512/September 12,2008) THE GOVERNMENT DECREE No. 97/2008/ND-CP OF AUGUST 28, 2008, ON THE MANAGEMENT, PROVISION AND USE OF INTERNET SERVICES AND ELECTRONIC INFORMATION ON THE INTERNET THE GOVERNMENT Pursuant to the December 25, 2001 Law on Organization of the Government; Pursuant to the June 29, 2006 Law on Information Technology; management, provision and use of Internet services and electronic information on the Internet in Vietnam. Article 2.- Subjects of application 1. This Decree applies to organizations and individuals involved in the management, provision and use of Internet services and electronic information on the Internet in Vietnam. 2. In case Internet-related treaties to which Vietnam has signed or acceded contain provisions different from those of this Decree, thepro visions of these treaties prevail.
