This Act is called the çSpecial Case Investigation Act, B.E. 2547é. Section 2. This Act shall come into force as from the day following the date of its publication in the Government Gazette. Section 3. In this Act: çSpecial Caseé means criminal cases provided in Section 21. çSpecial Case Inquiry Officialé means the Director-General, Deputy Director-General and persons appointed to have powers and duties to conduct the investigation and inquiry of special cases provided in this Act. çSpecial Case Officeré means person appointed to assist special case inquiry officials in the investigation and inquiry of special cases provided in this Act. çDirector-Generalé means the Director-General of the Department of Special Investigation. çDeputy Director-Generalé means Deputy Director-General of the Department of Special Investigation. çMinisteré means the Minister taking charge and control of the execution of this Act. Section 4. The Minister of Justice shall take charge and control of the execution of this Act and shall have power to issue Ministerial Regulations and Rules for implementing this Act.
