52. A n y person who forms an intention to effect
following purposes, that is to say :—
any of
the
Treasonable
felonies.
( a ) to depose H i s Majesty from the style, honour and royal
name of the Imperial Crown of Great B r i t a i n , Northern
Ireland and of the B r i t i s h Dominions beyond the Seas, or
of any of H i s Majesty's dominions, or territories or
countries; or
( b ) to levy war against H i s Majesty w i t h i n any part of H i s
Majesty's dominions, or within any country w h i c h has
been declared to be under his protection or mandate, i n
order by force or constraint to compel h i m to change his
measures or counsels, or i n order to put any force or constraint upon, or in order to intimidate or overawe the
legislature or. legislative authority of any of H i s Majesty's
dominions, or of any country which has been declared to
be under his protection or mandate; or
( c ) to instigate any person to make an armed invasion of any
of H i s Majesty's dominions or of any country w h i c h has
been declared to be under his protection or mandate;
and manifests such intention by an overt act, or by publishing
any printing or w r i t i n g , is guilty of a felony and is liable to
imprisonment for life.
53.
A n y person who :—
( a ) without lawful authority, carries on, or makes preparation
for carrying o n , or aids i n or advises the carrying on of, or
preparation for, any war or warlike undertaking w i t h , for,
by or against any section, !race or body of persons i n
Palestine;
Promoting civil
war.
Use of armed
force against
Government, etc.
( b ) prepares or endeavours, by armed force or the show of
armed force, to procure an alteration i n the Government
or laws or to resist the execution of the laws, or to compel
the H i g h Commissioner or any member of the Executive
Council or Legislative Council, or any person i n command
of any M i l i t a r y Forces or any Police Officer to do, or
abstain from doing, any act of a public or official character;
is guilty of a felony and is liable to imprisonment for life.
54. A n y person who endeavours to effect any of the following
purposes, that is to say :—
Inciting to
mutiny.
( a ) to seduce any person serving i n the M i l i t a r y Forces or
any member of the Police Force from his duty and
allegiance to H i s Majesty or the Government of Palestine;
or
(b)
to incite any such persons to commit an act of mutiny
or any traitorous or mutinous act; or
( c ) to incite any such persons to make or endeavour to make
a mutinous assembly;
is guilty of a felony and is liable to imprisonment for life.
55.
(a)
A n y person who :—
aids, abets, or is accessory to any act of mutiny b y ; or
( b ) incites to sedition or to disobedience to any lawful order
given by a superior officer or to any act of insubordination,

or policemen in
acts of mutiny.
