A n y person who conveys any person beyond the limits of Palestine without the consent of that person, or of some person legally authorised to consent on behalf of that person, is said to abduct that person from Palestine. Definition of abduction from lawful guardianship. 253. A n y person who takes or entices any minor under fourteen years of age if a male, or under sixteen years of age if a female, or any person of unsound m i n d , out of the keeping of the lawful guardian of such minor or person of unsound m i n d , without the consent of such guardian, is said to abduct such minor or person from lawful guardianship. Definition of abduction. 254. A n y person who by force compels, or by any deceitful means induces, any person to go from any place, is said to abduct that person. Punishment for abduction. 255. A person who abducts any person from Palestine or from lawful guardianship is guilty of a felony and is liable to imprisonment for seven years. Abducting in order to murder. 256. A n y person who abducts any person i n order that such person may be murdered or may be so disposed of as to be put i n danger of being murdered, is guilty of a felony and is liable to imprisonment for ten years. Abducting with intent secretly and wrongfully to confine person. 257. A n y person who abducts any person, w i t h intent to cause that person to be secretly and wrongfully confined, is guilty of a felony and is liable to imprisonment for seven years. Abducting in order to subject person to grievous hurt. 258. A n y person who abducts any person i n order that such person may be subjected, or may be so disposed of as to be put i n danger of being subjected, to grievous h a r m , or to the unnatural lust of any person, or knowing it to be likely that such person w i l l be so subjected or disposed of, is guilty of a felony and is liable to imprisonment for ten 3 ears. r Wrongfully concealing or keeping in confinement abducted person. 259. A n y person who, knowing that any person has been abducted, wrongfully conceals or confines such person, is guilty of a felony, and shall be punished i n the same manner as i f he had abducted such person w i t h the same intention or knowledge, or for the same purpose as that w i t h or for w h i c h he conceals or detains such person i n confinement. Abducting child under fourteen years with intent to steal from its person. 260. A n y person who abducts any child under the age of fourteen years, w i t h the intention of taking dishonestly any movable property from the person of such child, is guilty of a felony and is liable to imprisonment for seven years. Unlawful compulsory labour. 261. A n y person who unlawfully compels any person to labour against the w i l l of that person, is guilty of a misdemeanour and is liable to imprisonment for one year. False imprisonment. 262. A n y person who unlawfully arrests or confines another is guilty of a misdemeanour and is liable to imprisonment for one year or to a fine of fifty pounds. I f he effects the unlawful arrest by means of a false assumption of official character or by pretending to have a lawful warrant, he is liable to imprisonment for three years.
