Article 133
The penalty of life imprisonment shall apply to any person who threatens or uses any other illegal means to cause the Emir, the deputy Emir or Crown
Prince to take or abstain from a duty assigned to him by law.
Article 134
The penalty of imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years shall apply to any person who challenges by any public means the exercising by the Emir of
his rights or authorities, or criticizes his person.
The same penalty shall apply to any person who commits any of the previous offences on the deputy Emir or the Crown Prince.
Article 135
The penalty of capital punishment or life imprisonment shall apply to any person who attacks within the territory of the State, the security of the President or
Head of a foreign country or his liberty, or intentionally exposes his life or liberty to danger.
Article 136
The penalty of life imprisonment shall apply to any person who instigates by public means to overthrow the regime of the country, or conducts propaganda
or calls by public means for the adoption of a doctrine aiming to destroy the fundamental values of the State, to change the social or economic system
prevailing in the country by use of force or through any illegal means.
Article 137
The penalty of imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years shall apply to any person who is found in possession of any tract, letter or printed
document, or any other material inciting the overthrow of the regime by force, by illegal means, or infringes general security or promotes any of the said
issues.
Article 138
The penalty of imprisonment for a term not exceeding three years and a fine not exceeding fifteen thousand Qatar Riyals (15.000QR), or one of these two
penalties shall apply to any person who insults through any public means the flag of the State or the flag of a non-hostile State, whether by destroying or
lowering it, or by any other action expressing hate and disdain.
