Niny, publisher of the newspaper, wrote a column in which he alleged that a prosecutor had attended a wedding between two people of the same sex in the town of Ksar Al-Kébir. Although Niny did not name the prosecutor, a defamation complaint was filed. The court charged him with damages for libel and public insult. He was required to pay 6 million Moroccan Dirhams.
