CHAPTER NINE
VOTING AND DECISION OF ELECTION RESULTS
Article 59. Ballot paper
59.1. The ballot is the basic document for the voter to express his opinion and produce election results, and it meets the
following requirements:
59.1.1. in terms of content, entries, and form, it is easy and clear for voters to express their opinion;
59.1.2. contains instructions for the voter to mark his vote.
59.2. On the ballot, the name of the candidate's father/mother should be written in lowercase letters and his/her name
should be written in uppercase letters.
59.3. Ballot papers shall have special confidentiality and shall have a uniform number for all provinces and districts.
59.4. The ballot has the following sections:

59.4.1. to mark the vote given to the candidate in the electoral district specified in Article 4.3.1 of this law;

Article 60. The order of writing the candidate's name on the ballot paper
60.1. The names of parties, alliances, ward candidates and independent candidates shall be written in the following
order:

60.1.1. in the order in which the names of the parties are registered in the State Supreme Court;
60.1.2. the name of the coalition in the order of the parties registered in the Supreme Court first among the parties that
joined the coalition;
60.1.3. in the order in which candidates from the party or coalition were submitted to the constituency by that party or
coalition;

60.1.4. after the names of candidates from parties and coalitions in the ward following the order in which the
independent candidate was registered with the General Election Committee.

Article 61. Printing, delivery, storage and protection of ballot papers
61.1. The General Election Committee shall approve the number and design of ballot papers based on the number of
voters submitted by the state administrative organization in charge of state registration, and shall publish them by a
legal entity with a special license to print securities and a security certificate issued by an intelligence agency.

61.2. The General Election Committee shall organize the delivery of ballot papers to the polling station at least three
days before the polling day.
61.3. The organization in charge of the police and state special security shall be responsible for the security of printing,
delivery, and storage of ballot papers, and the organization in charge of intelligence shall supervise.
61.4. Ballots are under the control of police security and intelligence organizations until the day of voting, from the
beginning of voting until the end of counting, and from the end of voting until they are handed over to the provincial
and capital archives in accordance with relevant regulations.
61.5. After the end of the voting, the ballots shall be sealed in order to ensure the accuracy and security of the
information contained in the ballots, and shall be kept in the archives of the province and capital together with other
election documents without breaking the seal.
61.6. The seal of the archived ballot can be opened only in accordance with the court decision in the presence of
representatives of the General Election Committee and at least two external witnesses, under the control of the police.

61.7. The General Election Committee shall approve and enforce the procedures for printing, delivering, storing and
protecting ballot papers.
Article 62. Voting place and period
62.1 Voters' votes will be taken at the polling station from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on the day of Ulaanbaatar time.
62.2. According to the instructions approved by the General Election Committee, the governor of the sub-division or
district under the jurisdiction of the section is obliged to prepare the following items necessary for voting at least seven
days before the day of voting:
62.2.1. polling place;
62.2.2. the booth required for the voter to vote secretly;
62.2.3. the cabin required for the voter to cast his vote secretly by means of a portable sealed ballot box;
62.2.4. stationary and portable sealed ballot boxes;
62.2.5. a screen showing voter registration information to the observer;
