Amendmenl of sectiotr 22, Act XL of 2016.-In the Act XL of seclion 22, in sutFsection (l), for the expression "seven years, or with fine which may extend to five million rupees or with both", the expression "foune€n years and may e*end up lo twenty years and with fine which shall not h 2016, be less tlan one million rupees" shall be substituted. 4. lnsertion of new sections 22A, 228 rtrd 22C, Act )O, of2016.In Act XL of 2016, after section 22, amended as sforesaid the following new sections sball be inserted, namely:- "22A. Online grooming, solicitation snd cyber eoticement.-Whoever intentionally creates or takes steps towards creating a relationship of rust with a minor through the use ofan information syttem or device or any other similar means of communication with the intent to facilitate, solicit or commit sexual abuse ofa minor or to sharc, facilitata or solicit sexual content or produce sexual abuse material with a minor, shall be punished with iEptisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years and nor less than five years with fine uhich may extend to ten million rupees but not less than five hundred thous€nd rupees. 228. Commerrirl serusl Gtploit tion of childftn.-Subject to s.rtion t, whoever is directly or indirectly involved in the use ofan information system or other similar means for the purposcs of the sexual exploitation of minors including child prostitution and child sex tourism by payment in money ot in kind to the minor or any other person shall b€ punished with inrprisonment of either desc.iption for a term which shall not be less than fourteen years and may extcnd up to twenty years and with fine vr'hich shall not be less than one million rupees. 22C. Use of irformetion system for kidrepping, aMuctiotr or trrllicking of midor.-Who€ver contacts a minor through the use of a-n information system or any other similar means directly or indircctly of communicalion with intent to kidnap, abduct or tmffic a minor 10 commit scxual abuse of a minor or exploitation shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which shall nor be less than fourteen ycars and may extend up to twenty years and with fine which shall not be less than one million rupees.".
